The weather is wonderful for growing plants but not for harvesting blueberries.
We are still ahead of schedule on getting blueberries out of the field. This means that what's there right now is still tart because they need another few days to ripen.
With the water in the fields and the mud on Berry Patch Road, we are going to call another time out and say we will not be open today. We have end of school plans for this weekend so we will also be closed tomorrow (Saturday).
